Things in and around Lewiston
Attention history and biking buffs.
We are on the Seaway Trail which runs all along the northern border of New York and Lakes Erie and Ontario. The route takes you past the Buffalo Main Light, Old Fort Niagara Lighthouse and Thirty Mile Point Lighthouse. Stop for a while and take a ride on the Jetboat, listen to a concert at Art Park, check out the Underground Rail Road Museum and Old Fort Niagara. Visit Niagara Falls and take an invigorating walk through the Niagara Gorge. Don't forget to check out the Power Authority Museum.
All summer long there is a free concert on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays that can be heard from our front porch. If you come through on a weekend, Lewiston may be having one of it's many summer festivals. Or, if you just need to relax, enjoy a meal at one of the many sidewalk tables our restaurants sport while you watch Village activities. Give us a call to set up a room for you or take a chance and just ring the doorbell!
There are LOTS of things to do in and near Lewiston. Many have their own websites and we happily include some of them here. Places like our Chamber of Commerce, Council of the Arts, and theater programs from Artpark and Niagara University.
